President's Message

Dear Members and Beloved People of Bodrum,

It is a great pleasure and privilege to live together with you in Bodrum — one of the world’s most significant and beautiful regions, renowned for its history, culture, and natural beauty.

With these unique values, Bodrum has become a true center of attraction and, particularly in recent years, has been developing and expanding rapidly in both population and commercial capacity.

Before the 1970s, Bodrum’s economy relied mainly on agriculture and trade. However, with the rise of tourism, sectors such as accommodation, food and beverage, entertainment, construction, food production, yacht manufacturing, and blue cruises have seen remarkable growth.

As the Board of Directors of the Bodrum Chamber of Commerce — one of the first representatives of trade in Bodrum — we aim, within the framework of the authorities and responsibilities granted by Law No. 5174, to lead the way toward a modern and distinctive structure that ensures economic growth while preserving our region’s natural, cultural, and historical richness. We embrace a participatory governance approach in collaboration with our members and aspire to be a pioneering “Professional Organization” both in Turkey and internationally.

Since assuming office in 2005, we have worked continuously to strengthen the Bodrum Chamber of Commerce and enhance the socio-economic life of Bodrum. Moving forward, our efforts will continue with rational and solution-oriented activities to ensure that Bodrum’s unique character and future are planned wisely.

As an internationally recognized brand, Bodrum deserves institutions that match its global reputation. Our Chamber aims to be a leading and guiding professional organization that represents Bodrum Peninsula at both national and international levels.

In this regard, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all our members and stakeholder institutions and organizations that have supported us thus far. We also wish to emphasize once again the importance of collective wisdom and scientific guidance in all our future endeavors with our members and partners.
