Bodrum Chamber of Commerce was founded on 27.05.1977 by the coming together of Bodrum merchants.

Bodrum Chamber of Commerce, which served 25-30 members with a staff in its first years, has reached a corporate structure serving approximately 10,000 members with 25 staff with the development of Bodrum's trade volume as a result of the successful studies and services it conducts today..

Bodrum Chamber of Commerce laid the foundations of its new service building in 1996 by purchasing a 600 m2 property in Yokuşbaşı Neighborhood belonging to the treasury, and started providing services from its own building in August 1998. In order to provide higher quality and institutional service, BODTO moved to a new service building established on an area of ​​1,801 m2 in Konacık Neighborhood on September 18, 2017.  The new service building was opened on September 24, 2017.The new service building was opened on September 24, 2017.

Bodrum Chamber of Commerce became the first Chamber in Muğla to receive ISO 9001:2000 Quality Certificate in 2006 with its studies, and in May 2007 it was entitled to receive the title of Accredited Chamber that meets the requirements under the TOBB Accreditation System.

Since then, our Chamber has successfully continued these activities and continues its activities with the aim of planning and developing the commercial and socio-economic life of Bodrum and our Region in a sustainable approach.
