TOBB Fair Organization – Legislation

TOBB (The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye) has been authorized in accordance with the Law No. 5174 on the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye, which was published in the Official Gazette on June 1, 2004, and entered into force, regarding the procedures carried out by the Ministry of Industry and Trade related to fairs organized within the country.

According to Article 56, paragraph (g) of Law No. 5174, the authority to review and decide on applications regarding domestic fairs, which are submitted to chambers and commodity exchanges and then forwarded to TOBB, has been granted to our Union.

Fair applications submitted to TOBB are evaluated and finalized within the framework of the “Procedures and Principles Regarding the Organization of Domestic Fairs.”
