Corporate Governance System
Our Chamber laid the foundations of institutionalization in 2005 and obtained the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System Certificate for the first time in 2006. Thus, BODTO embarked on its quality journey, developing its system through continuous audits conducted by TSE (Turkish Standards Institution), Türk Loydu, and the TOBB Accreditation Board. This system has since become a model for other institutions and organizations in the region.
Setting out with the goal of achieving 100% member satisfaction, our Chamber aims to enhance the effectiveness of the quality services it provides, ensure the highest level of member and customer satisfaction, promote collaborative governance with external stakeholders, and achieve overall satisfaction together with its employees.
As the first Chamber in Muğla Province to obtain a “Quality Certificate,” BODTO has continued to improve its system by following the revisions of the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System Standard, and has updated its certification to the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
What is the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System?
This new version consists of the following key elements:
1- Scope
2- Normative references
3- Terms and definitions
4- Context of the organization
5- Leadership
6- Planning
7- Support
8- Operation
9- Performance evaluation
Adopting risk-based process management, BODTO established its Risk Management System based on how to avoid and minimize potential risks through process-oriented practices.
Through the concept of governance, identifying and understanding member expectations has gained a new dimension. Information management has been prioritized — emphasizing access to and use of the information required by processes, rather than focusing solely on quality records.
Since beginning its quality journey in 2005, BODTO has successfully completed all annual audits and will continue to be the Chamber of firsts with its Corporate Governance System, dynamic team spirit, and innovative approach.
