Membership and Benefits

According to Article 5 of Law No. 5174, all traders registered in the trade registry, as well as industrialists and maritime traders, whether natural or legal persons, including their branches and factories, are required to register with the chamber located in the area where they operate.

Industrialists who open multiple sales outlets for the purpose of selling their own industrial products must also register each additional outlet with the relevant Chamber of Commerce and Industry or Chamber of Commerce in that location.
In addition, those who engage in other types of commercial activity besides the sale of their own industrial products are also required to register with the appropriate chamber.

Economic enterprises wholly owned by the State, provincial administrations, or municipalities, as well as their subsidiaries, and other legal entities established by special law or contract in which the State or local administrations have a shareholding, must also register with the chamber in the province where their branches or factories are located.
