Member Responsibilities

Following registration with the Bodrum Chamber of Commerce (BODTO) in accordance with Law No. 5174, members are subject to certain responsibilities and must duly fulfill their obligations within the framework of this law.

The main responsibilities of our members are as follows:

1- To pay their annual and supplementary membership fees, which are due in June and October each year, without delay. In case of delay, payments must be made together with the applicable late payment interest.

2- To pay the service fees determined for specific services provided by the Chamber.

3- To promptly notify the Chamber of any changes to their address, telephone number, fax number, or e-mail address.

4- Members who have terminated their tax registration must inform the Chamber within one month from the date of business closure declared to the tax office, to complete their deregistration procedures.

5- To ensure that all statements and declarations submitted to the Chamber are accurate and truthful.

6- To comply with the principles of professional ethics, discipline, and solidarity.

7- To provide the Chamber with accurate and timely statistical data regarding their businesses, as well as price information on goods and services when requested for research or market evaluation purposes.

8- To notify the Chamber within one month of any changes recorded in the Trade Registry, such as amendments to company information.

9- Cooperatives and companies registered with our Chamber must notify the Trade Registry Office of any changes related to shareholding, authority, address, capital, or general assembly decisions within fifteen days from the date of the decision.
